Benvenuti brothers are famous for Istrian Malvazija cultivated on white soil rich in clay and limestone. The unique terroir gives this white wine, the emblem of Istrian winemaking, more delicacy, more elegant tones and more complexity than the usual Malvasia cultivated on red soil. Don’t leave their cellar without tasting Malvasia San Salvatore, a high-end wine made from dried Malvasia grapes, perfect example of meditation wine. This wine is the only one which was awarded the Grand Gold Medal at Vinistra 2011.
But don’t worry, even without San Salvatore, when you visit Benvenuti’s vineyards, you will enter Zen mode, with a view of the hilltop medieval town Motovun.
