Bastion No. 19

Bastion No. 19 is not just a natural wine bar, but they like to call themselves a terroir and craft bar. Bastion No. 19 is formed on a carefully chosen list of wines from domestic and, especially, European vineyards, mainly Croatian and a few world craft beers, quality liquor and spirits. Oh, and a specialty coffee from small Croatian coffee roastery.

This wine bar supports the small family wine growers which are honest artisans, making authentic and expressive wines of their homeland – wines of character or wines of tradition that show maximum respect for the environment. There is not really one winemaking philosophy that necessarily leads to the good wine, but we believe that natural wine is the freedom to get it wrong, and the freedom to get it very right indeed.

We like to drink there cause we always find some new and exciting wines, and we can indulge in a very non wine snob atmosphere. A place where both wine geeks and wine “ignorants” can coexist together!
