Mlinci

Trgana tjestenina tipična za Zagreb i sjevernu Hrvatsku. Tijesto se izvalja, peče, trga na komade i zatim priprema s vrućom vodom ili juhom, i naposljetku kratko propirja u masti peradi. Tradicionalno se poslužuju s pečenom puricom, guskom ili patkom, osobito na Božić.

Pasta tatters typical for Zagreb and northern Croatia. The dough is rolled, baked and broken to pieces, then prepared with hot water or soup, and finally briefly sautéed in poultry fat. Traditionally served with roast turkey, goose or duck, especially on Christmas.

Morana Zibar

Smaller than on TV. Her life consists of translating, writing, eating, drinking and being smart on pub quizzes. She hopes to transfer this passion on to her daughter.
