Eat & Drink surrounded by Croatian design

By: Gurwoman

Croatian design superstore was recently opened in the very centre of the town, Martićeva street which totally makes sense as it is the most hipster street in Zagreb

It's a showcase store to present and sell various products made by young & successful Croatian designers; from clothes and jewellery to furniture and art. Great idea in itself, especially in terms of introducing Croatian design to foreign visitors and expanding the market for designers. The cherry on top of this positive idea was to open a small bar and food&drink corner as part of it. This means that here you can also buy several selected (good design as the criteria, beside the quality of the product itself) Croatian wines, olive oils, jams, kitchen utensils. And the cozy little bar and lounge area gives you access to excellent cocktails (designed by experts behind Šibenik's Vino&Ino bar), fairly priced Croatian wines by glass and craft beers, which you can enjoy in quite a unique and supercool atmosphere. But that's not all... The plan is also to offer traditonal snacks and seasonal fruit and veggies from small local farms, a sort of a mini farmers' market for the young and hip audience.
